Renato Bertani was Quoted In Natural Gas Week
Renato Bertani was quoted in the article "Bullish Outlook Seen for NatGas Despite Recent Plunge in Prices" in the October 20, 2008 edition of the Natural Gas Week.
Though natural gas prices in the US have fallen nearly 50% from highs earlier this summer, the fossil fuel still holds a promising future, former Petrobras Americas president Renato Bertani told a Houston audience last week.
"This is a commodity that is in continuous, growing demand," Bertani told attendees of a shale conference organized by Thompson & Knight Global Energy Services.
Bertani, who is now chief executive of Thompson & Knight, cited US Energy Intelligence Administration figures that show growth in natural gas consumption holding steady through 2030 alongside crude, coal and renewables.
